This is a scrap book of images and videos of our work, a small example of what our 7-year collaboration has produced. Creating a series of combined arts events for diverse audiences, we’ve situated ourselves primarily in the Yorkshire region, working in the city of York, and the towns of Pontefract, Scarborough and villages of May Beck and Thornton Le Dale. We practice live art and also create material for interdisciplinary contexts of visual art. We have taken touring theatre work to Norwich Arts Centre, the Freud Museum London, among many other UK venues. We work with local people and include their stories in our work and draw upon folkloric tales blending iconic figures and identities into the mix of the everyday. We are playfully intertextual, influenced by dead icons, eremitic culture and dark emotional ballads, our work appeals to a diverse age range.
